Hara- He who takes away, usually chanted repeatedly before another name of Shiva, I've noticed.

om namah Shivay. this band has come along way since i last heard them. awesome!! right up my alley. the Asura Hiranyakashipu, who was defeated by Narasimhaji, was also a devotee of Lord Brahma. whereas Ravana and Kansa were devotees of Lord Shiva.jai Kalike!

Well to be fair most if not all the Asuras were devotees of either Shiva and/or Vishnu. They got most of their power from doing austerities and Lord Brhama would usually grant them almost immortality.
Besides it's safe to say Kali Ma might rock out to some metal
