Solyndra Loan Guarantee Announcement

Vice President Biden and Secretary Chu were joined by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Solyndra CEO Dr. Chris Grone to announce that the Department of Energy has finalized a $535 million loan guarantee for Solyndra, Inc., which manufactures innovative cylindrical solar photovoltaic panels that provide clean, renewable energy. The funding will finance construction of the first phase of the company's new manufacturing facility. Solyndra estimates the new plant will initially create 3,000 construction jobs, and lead to as many as 1,000 jobs once the facility opens.

I think nobody disputes the need for renewable energy sources.

Albeit for environmental or geo-political reasons.

But that's does not mean that government should intervene in this new upcoming markets with capital injections...from taxpayers money.

Obama gave $527 Million of taxpayer money to Solyndra and 1 year later they declared bankruptcy, MY company operates 1.5 years on $20 million, Solyndra is a CIA front company for mid eastern BLACK OPS in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Tunisa, etc. It's no wonder they went out of business so fast-They never were IN business at all?

What - there have been no cruddy/corrupt polluting companies?! So, those who are saving AND making money off solar panels on their homes all over the world (utilizing hundreds of OTHER GOOD solar companies - imagine that?!) are simply living a delusion? Face it.
