Getting the rent deposit for your new home can be really difficult, but is a must when renting because you will find it very hard to rent without a deposit.

There are many companies out there that will be prepared to offer you a rent deposit loan. Rent deposit loans that they offer will all be different in some way. So what do you need to look for?
Firstly, will they offer the amount which you need to borrow? For example, if you need £600 for a deposit will that lender offer you the full amount? So, your first task is to find companies that will offer you the amount that you need.
How to decide the length of your rent deposit loan? Normally, the longer the loan duration the lower your weekly or monthly repayments might be. Therefore if you just need to borrow for a deposit until you get your previous deposit back a shorter term loan may suit you better. If things are tight at the moment, you might prefer to pay the deposit back over a longer period of time, several months or even years. One of the important things to note here is to make sure that you can afford to repay the weekly or monthly amounts.
APR - do you know what that is? This is one of the most important things to consider when looking for a deposit loan. APR Is the annual percentage rate. This is a percentage which you will be charged to borrow. When looking at APR, the bigger the percentage the more expensive the loan.
