When Panera began we decided to bake fresh bread from fresh dough. That made us wonder, what else could we do the right way? We've come together with our communities to help feed people in need. In addition to creating delicious food that you can trust. Panera Bread -- Live Consciously. Eat Deliciously.

I have always liked Panera's food and knowing that left overs go to people rather than garbage cans shows great social responsibility. Great job Panera Bread. To the people with negative comments about their food, the answer is simple, take your dollars elsewhere...we are lucky to have a market where competition is allowed and welcomed. Hope they can accommodate the people who would like to see gluten free bread soon.

No, we're eating chemical free chicken, it's like Chickens who didn't get their flu shot, we as people have the option to do that too. It's actually pretty healthy!

I would love to be a panera bread baker and a normal team member at the same time to get to do a little bjt of everything that gets done.

Is it just me or is this strangely similar to Chipotle's 'Back To The Start' video made a year ago?

This is a great way to show Panera's commitment to quality ingredients, their customers, and their corporate social responsibility. This reminds me of Chipotle's "Back to the Start" video which I think was a big success. Videos like these make me feel like I have a relationship with a brand which is very important in today's businesses environment. I recommend that Panera and other companies continue to showcase more of the social good they do.

OMG people. Panera's underlying theme shows us how everyone has a role to play in which to deliver an end product. If one area ceases to have the same goal in mind, the line is broken & the end product fails to be produced. It takes the energy of all, working together, in order to create the company.

you're an idiot. the dough does not have preservatives. I work at panera and we learn all of the ingredients that go in everything. you could even look at the nutritional book we have and see all of the ingredients. the dough IS shipped in (locally), obviously because the bakers in the restaurant would not have time to make dough AND make more than a thousand bagels (& that's just bagels..not counting bread, etc.) every day. get YOUR facts straight...

This is a snippet of what I have learned: there are many forms of bacteria that help. For instance, there are bacteria that help digest my food. When I take an "anti"-biotic, it helps kill the bacteria I don't want, AND it kills the bacteria that I DO want; sloppy and unhealthy. There are also "pro-biotic pills" meant to restore balance; slightly sloppy. There is more going on in our diets, and the more you know the better health you can have.
