Remember working on Copeland road stand at Ibrox stadium when they where doing it up and the view ! was almost exactly like the cover of the raintown album ! Then would get back to Edinburgh roll a J and listen to Raintown and When the world knows your name !! It was when Rangers signed Mourice Johnston !Couple of days before we arrived there was an interview with this labourer on tv when asked why he didn`t like catholics he just said "We just dinnae like thum!"Peace Ye`all

still love this band, not the same without ewan on bass.All their music transports me to special places and times. Have seen them many times from the barrowlands to the appolo and they still have it.thanks for the memories!!!

Best Band Scotland has ever produced, and I dont care if this offends other bands or fans of them, Deacon rule and every album is a class act. Me and a mate introduced Deacon Blue to Magaluf in 89' and all the DJ's wanted to buy our copy of Raintown. Brilliant music.!!!
