  • This is the best!

  • @HoldfastMusic Thanks HoldfastMusic, please subscribe.

  • You coulda done a little more research. A Flanger? Not at all a necessary effect. WAY more people play with Phasers than flangers. Although neither is a necessity.

And you forgot the most essential pedal there is! Overdrive! (Which is not the same as a DS-1, or distortion).

  • @eragoncp14 when i made the video i was under the impression that fangers and phasers were the same thing. now i know they are fairly different. the flanger is more metalic sounding and the phaser swirls. By distortion i meant the sound it's self, not the exat pedal. it wouldn't matter if you used a dirty amp with a sd-1 or a metal zone and a clean amp, it's still distortion to the common ear. anyway, thanks for watching.

  • Yeah I didn't know that at first either. Sorry wasn't trying to be rude either.

Yes but there IS a difference between Overdrive and Distortion. And generally, an overdrive is considered more essential. :)

  • thanks for the advice

  • @eragoncp14 and that is the long dash version of the DS-1, early 80's

  • So my favorite guitar effects are distortion, wah wah, delay, chorus and Volume Pedal

  • @MrRaphaelLippi technically yes, but its overall sound isn't the best. there are many distortion pedals that are built with better quality and have a full range of distortion tone.

  • @7goatmilk7 Isn't the DS-1 analog?

  • jeez creative choices...

  • Can you plug them in and make sound?? that would acually be helpful, and why do u want ppl to subscribe? you only have one video out from 2 yrs ago...

  • I love how all of those were probably the worst effect pedals you could ever buy... Volume pedals suck the tone out of your signal, wah's arn't true bypass, and digital effects don't sound good at all, ESPECIALLY delay. An all analog board with true bypass pedals and buffers and boosts is MUCH better sounding, with a modded wah or a CAE wah (true bypass).

  • @7goatmilk7 Thnx man ! :D

  • @Deep97Purple Original Crybaby because it doesn't suck away volume or tone and its true bypass, but invest in a better distortion. Just because the DS1 is popular doesn't mean its that good. Analog distortions have more of a range of sound and more character. Have a nice day.

  • Digital effects like boss suck the unique analog tones right away
