Royal Reception for Shaykh Hisham Kabbani in Indonesia

Sep 3rd 2007 - Jakarta Indonesia - At the Naqshbandi Rabbani Zawiyah (center) in Jakarta, thousands gathered to recieve shaykh Hisham Kabbani.

As we arrived hundreds of people waited on both sides of the street with flags and drums; Red carpet was laid out all the way to the building, music was playing, nasheed was sung and whirlers were whirling; Everybody was waiting for mawlana on their knees, and you could hear some of them crying and sobing, some have waited too long for this moment.

HE isnt just standing he is also channeling his energy and connecting them, too their levels much as possible thats why in the end they have loads of energy to do things spin around, and u will notice head aches, where as them they can spin around for hours. cuz of the eneregy from the shiekh

is this the true islam? how can someone sujud to this so called sufi sheikh? its so sad we are goin back to the jahilliyah time. im not a sufi nor a salafi . as a moderate muslim who learns a lot abt al quran and hadith , definitely wat they are doin is totally unislamic. may allah lead all the sufi back to the true path.

I wanna ask something; why only the followers do the jumping, spinning, playing of the music and everything, but the sheik h only just stand or just sit and see. I mean most of the videos i see.

U see,When the Prophet's companions collaborate together to built the An-Nabawi mosque; he didn't just stand at look, as a matter a fact, he helped. When his companions are hungry, he's also too. He even put rocks on his stomach.

So, is there a reason whereby u tarikat people can answer my question? :)

well, in hadith, im not sure the sanad and who narrate it, but it is said that Saidina Abu Bakar did a small whirling because he was so happy, just 3 whirling if i remember correctly infront of Rasullullah SAW when he heard him say: You'll be with the ones whom you love.
