The first 13 episodes of this were, imo, much stronger than the first 13 episodes of X-files. And that is saying something because X-Files is one of my favorite shows. It's such an incredible shame that this got canceled. I would have loved to see what it would have become had they given it a chance.

For fuck's sake Maddy's mother doesn't seem so upset that her kid has gone missing , if it were my kid I'd be hysterical, not treat it like a case at work

Oh I totally agree - but look at the 'X-Files'; that had very poor ratings for the first season, but the studio stuck with it and we all know that it went on to become a cult programme. The same with 'Star Trek' - I think sometimes the studios really need to give the decent shows a chance. Can some of the God awful reality junk first.

Yeah, it's agreat show but studios can never afford the wait - show has to have the momentum from the get-go

Such a shame this show was cancelled; once again the studio couldn't allow a quality show to take time to gain viewing figures.
