man, the reissues still don't come close... at all.

@donmeswimee There's a Starbuck's next to CME... one too many espressos ;-)

the les paul sounds better wth p90´s... is a lot of noise,... but with that sound who cares..... u don´t want that gold top to play jazz..
-
@chicagomusicexchange or you can get a tokai or greco for under a grand that will sound better than just about anything on the rack from gibson

Woah man don't knock that guitar around like you did in the first minute. precarious balance O_O

I like the way the '57 PAFs almost sound like P-90's and gradually by the time it's '59-'60 shows very little tonal resemblence with P-90's. Tend to like the earlier humbuckers over '59ers, but I can't afford either so I'll have to do with copies :P... Sweet guitar!

@lauriedepaurie The early PAFs were about as sweet as it gets, but there's nothing wrong with rocking a copy either. Gibson makes outstanding reissues. Thanks for checkin the video out!

@PAULisDEADMANnumber9 Thanks for the kind words. This guitar practically plays itself. I was playing through a Dunlop Hendrix Fuzz Face into a Vox Handwired AC30, and it was mic'd up with a Sure SM57.
