From a study of mankind's history, I have found Jesus to be recorded as having noticed the rulers/elite of a caste system as/for restricting the health benefits, associated with the use of beds and other furniture, from those which they intentionally systematically kept ignorant so as to maintain their rule over them. Their method of maintaining inequality amongst the people was by way of creating and orchestrating the direction of a deficit of knowledge. Jesus devoted his life toward teaching/emphasizing that free speech and equal education rectifies and prevents such practices by tyrannical governments. Now, all we have to do to avoid/defeat oppressive government is remember/recognize, learn and apply this lesson recorded in our history. Jesus only/always comes again when people have denied him.

  • Corinthians 4; 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

"Imperfect is the joy, not shared with all."

"Imperfect is the tax, not shared with all."

"Imperfect is the cure, not shared with all."

  • Jesus was famous for raising Lazerus from the dead. Lazerus wasn't just sleeping because he was in a tomb and the whole town was weeping and crying, and they had asked him to come prior because Lazerus was seriously ill.

This has nothing to do with furniture.

  • When Jesus was told about him being in a tomb, Jesus said he was sleeping. Yes or no?

  • Sleeping and dead were considered the same thing when they used to say "He is sleeping with his ancestors"

  • As the vocabulary of a peoples grows, Before the word sleep is in common use, the word "DEAD" is /has been used to mean not conscious.

Thus, "raising the dead", would be the way they would describe the actions of a carpenter making and getting people to sleep in beds, up off the ground, bettering their health, through education.

Raising their consciousness would also be described by using the same words, "raising the dead".

Thus, "let the dead bury the dead".

    Understanding "Easter" better?

  • i agree with you, Christ performed many miracles, and raising Lazarus who was dead already was one of them, this guy smoked too much weed, and is talking out his butt if you ask me

  • sleeping because all the dead will eventually "awake" and arise from this current slumber to face eternity.

  • The story is about the times, our history.

Many of the writers did use the word "sleep", but not the average person, yet.

Many of the upper-cast did sleep in beds, but not the average person, yet.

Our vocabulary started with one word, then another, and we are still adding to it today. Like a child's.

When I ask people, "Who famous for the bed?", some people say, "Jesus, because of the manger."

    Praying before going to Bed.

Using "dead tiered" to mean "sleepy tiered", or unconsciously tiered.
