The first Mariah Power Windspire wind turbine to be installed in Alaska is located at Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge in Tok, Alaska. This now completes the power needs John and Jill have to totally live off the grid. The wind is complimented with 8 solar panels, a bank of batteries, two inverters and a 8.5 KW diesel generator (which they hope to never run again).

WindPowerKits' comment is at best a mistake and at worst a sleazy, dishonest scam to divert web traffic to a competitor's website. From everything I can find, Windspire is going strong, with fresh injections of capital and A-list customers such as Adobe Systems.

a Michigan Newspaper was reporting today that the plant making these WindSpires in Michigan was going out of business or closing down and laying off the whole workforce. Rooftop wind turbines are easier to install and get permitted anyway, a better idea... Thanks

Awsome video, gives me shivers. 20 minutes ago I received approval for my windspire from my local township. Can I borrow the soundtrak for my upcoming movie?
