Great review steve , i have the episode 1 obi wan from 1999 but i am not sure if this is a must have what do you think should i get him or stay with the older version?

hi. i was wondering if you could help me when i bought the vintage maul sideous qui gon and obi wan on the back of the packaging toys r us had stucken a sticker on the back of the packaging it is removable but i don't want to damage the cards so will it affect the price point of the figures in the future because the sticker is on there or will it not matter.

Yeah, just rip 'em off! If you're a carded collector, I guess it wouldn't hurt to leave one or two stickers on, but I just rip mine off. They obstruct all the visuals.

@08263able ...Stickers on cards give it character. would you rip off the sticker on a 1977 vintage card? i would not. just my preference :)

Not when the card's character lies underneath the sticker... Have you seen the European stickers? They're fugly!

My biggest complaint on this figure is his face doesn't really look like obi wan from the movies, I mean the one from 1999 looked more like him. And also his padawan braid us way too thick it looks like a last minute idea. But over all love your reviews and love the boring conversation anyways podcast. Thanks Steve =)

Just got the TVC one of these, not a bad little robe he comes with to be honest. I was disappointed with the lack of lightsaber hilt though.

That headsculpt looks nothing like Ewan McGregor. And the braid is just ridiculous.
