thanks bruce, i'll have to talk my dad into trying that out with the 5344. i hope it comes out just as good as yours did. and i also pray what ever kind of coal we burn gives us plenty of steam. so we can shoot alot of footage.

bruce, whats the trick to keeping the camera on top of the cab. and keeping it still, while operating the locomotive at the same time.

Really, no trick at all. I put about five red wiper rags under the camera, and a bungie cord over the top of it to hold it still. Each end of the bungie cord is fastened to the cab windows on each side. I bring the viewer up so I can see what the camera is seeing, and thats about it. Bruce
