The 430V8 last rumbled ten years ago before coming to rest in this spot. A bit of rust on the fringes, but all there and complete except for a couple of trim pieces. She would make for a beautiful resto if the Batmobile look turns you on. $2700 is in the ballpark to me for this Kennedy era machine.

  • UPDATE

I just put this car in the shop for restoration!!!!

Cant wait to get it completed!

  • Send a video response of her when back on the road!!!

  • IIT A SHAME

  • This car has been rescued :)

  • I bought this beauty! Its in good shape and complete with minimal rust in the right front fender. Pouring oil and gas just to start it is a bad idea as damage to the rare engine(J)could result.(350 hp 430 CID) The trim thats on the top is not factory but from an after market supplier JC Whittney. I found an ad in their catalog from 1970. I must admit with the right colors its tasteful! Besides the rare engine, it has an unusual paint code MX. So far, I have not found a listing in any books yet!

  • Great!!! Send me a video sometime of any restoration. Are you in the high desert of CA?

  • beautiful car , love the baby blue and white interior

  • No I live in SW Colorado. I am planning on starting this fall but I am in the process of disassembling the engine now. All the casting numbers and casting date codes match. I am documenting everything and will post it here as well as Vintage Thunderbird Club Int. which I am a member. You dont see very often a car transformed so I thought that this will be an interesting project! I have found paperwork in the car dating to the mid 60's from N Cal and will take her on her first trip there!
