Starts and Turn in swimming are explosive. Training on Dryland needs to be explosive too. The Leaper is isokineitc --in other words, it adapts to the athlete's use of power. In this coaching session, Steve Friederang has set the Leaper to medium speed. As the athlete gets closer to her championship races, the Leaper will be set at faster speed while still adapting to her force.
