  • People can say what they want about mike but he had one of the best chins in boxing. Every time he lost it was in a later round, I.e. Lennox Lewis fight. Had mike stayed working hard and disciplined, he would've never lost to the likes of a buster Douglas.

  • even teddy atlas said that mike had a chink in his amour.

  • holyfield was a far more dangerous man even tyson called him an animal. He could take a beating and come back as seen in the bert cooper fight and bowe fight

  • sure mike was powerful but apart from ruddock he never won any real challenges. His capacity to absorb pain which a great fighter must have was sadly lacking. he has never avenged not even one pro loss, never gotten off the canvas to win a fight, never lost on points, just got the fuck knocked out.

  • He was ridiculously good .

Love watching these training clips to get a true sense of his power, skill, speed and accuracy . Mike was a killer in the ring .

  • Mike is a machine and this badass song just fits very well

  • @blatantlyable Yea... boxing is very much a martial art... unfortunatley the spiritual side of the martial arts is usually very downplayed in boxing... which is a shame because there is alot to be learned from that side of things... as opposed to "traditional" martial arts where they usually are to relaxed on the competition/effectiveness of their martial arts!

  • @Gooseman2k2 my sentiments exactly, I just meant I'm not professionally trained

  • @blatantlyable Boxing is a martial art :)

  • @Gooseman2k2 lol well im more of a martial arts enthusiast than a boxer but i thought i was the only one. whenever i shadow box it feels the same way
