@sciowapker so far off, lt1 redlines at 5700.. and overdrive has nothing to do with the takeoff seeing as how its the final gear... actually an overdrive transmission has a lower first gear for faster acceleration. sooooooooooooo yeah. and this isnt either of those things i hav an lt1 trans am with lt4 heads and a few bolt ons, would smoke this car in reverse

yea...anlt4 wouldnt need to be short shifted like that they breathe well all the way to 6500

I THINK IT IS AN LT4, LOOK AT WHERE IT'S SHIFTING AT. 5500 RPMs, LT1s redline around 5, i just think he took off slow. sometimes these OVERDRIVES do that you know...

@ClevelandOrangeDawgs Yes and no...I have a '97 trans am with the exact cluster as in this video. I've heard the digital odometer was introduced in the later batch of '97 models, hence mine was probably made toward the beginning. The car in this video definitely wasn't an LS1 though. lmao

@LS6Z28 what on earth are you talking about, that cluster only came in 93-94 firebirds, 95-02 the guages look different, and the odometer is digital. notice the oldschool scrolling miledge....that is an old cluster from 93-94 the ONLY years for that. this car is a 93 or 94 bird.
