I discovered this band in 1987 but never did buy the album. I loved this song. I wanted to download to my iPhone but could not find it. I have been searching and searching for the group!!! I was misspelling the name of the band. I can't BELIEVE I found it!!!

I'm from Dayton, I loved The Raisins ... When this version came out way back when I was a little put off by it.. But listening to them both now , clearly The Bears version is far less dated sounding.. A great tune none the less...

I've heard both versions of this song and can happily say that IMHO this is by far the better version. How can you argue with any revamp of a tune that includes Senor Belew?

They used to play a bar in Newtown (near cincinnati) and put on a rockin show everytime. The place was always full of hot little chicken-heads we used to call "Raisonettes"
