I've followed the 5 stairsteps & cubie since danger she's a stranger, somehow i missed this one. This thing called music is the only way we can go back in time. what a wonderful way to get there for a while.
This group was very much underrated, they were real tight with their haunting approuch and the base line and the tight harmonies. I was into them when I was a part of the Nation of islam, a very long time ago
Beautiful music by the Stairsteps. Prince's first album "For You" sounds a lot like this.
