Okemo Hillclimb Crash- DSG Pleasure Evo. II 2010

Pleasure Evo in the first timed run of the weekend. This wonderful steering failure was 100% my fault. A result of improper assembly of a new steering column prior to the event. There was no sign of impending failure for a complete day of practice, then on the first run I lost the ability to turn the wheels in turn 2.

I was up the hill a ways and I heard that crash, ran down to see if Alex was ok, and the whole time I was saying to myself I wish I didn't move from the sugar shack so I could have filmed it, but this is even better!

Glad you're OK buddy. That could've been alot worse if the failure had happened later on the course.
