  • i'm sorry, but what lens did you use?

  • @FrenchVanillaBunny I'm sorry but I really can't remember, we shot this over a year ago now. I think it mostly Nikon 2.8 lenses.. maybe an 85 or 50 1.4 as well.

  • hi, this is a really good video! i have a question! i have a d7000 with a nikkor 28mm 2.8 lens, and i am making a music video for media (year 12). Whenever someone moves in my film, there is a very noticeable lag, and when i try and edit the film on final cut pro.... everything stutters and lags.... what lens did you use for this video? what did you use to edit? please help! cristina

  • @CristinaSerafy Hi Cristina, Not sure how I can help too much. For editing we also used FCP and in terms of lenses for this video we used an assortment of them. Although the lens won't matter in terms of lag or anything like that. It could be the setting you're shooting at. Typically video is shot at a shutter speed of either 1/50 or 1/60 of a second, if you're not already trying that, take a shot using those settings. Hopefully that helps!

  • @2dphotography

I have the same problem as Cristina! I'm trying to make a video for my apartment complex's website, and every time a pan or tilt (1080p, 24p, 1/50) I get a lag ans the video turn not to be smooth. The same thing is happening when I use the slider. I'm using Kingstone class4 and I've just order a 16 Sandisk Extreme pro HD video. That might be the problem?!

  • @bnccristi Well she ended up having problem with the program she was using not the camera. It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong, and the the SanDisk Extreme Pro would be serious overkill for your video requirements. I doubt you're having trouble with your card otherwise you'd definitely know. Keep in mind that you are eventually limited with what you can get out of 24p, as well.

  • @bnccristi thank you - i order a sandisk10 card - with the 6 i have the same problems with 1080i. 720 works with the 6 card... Canon is certainly better - but the price is different. Will see the new Nikon. - Have a lot of Nikon optics ...

  • @KameraTeamPGmbH Yes.It was the slow SD card together with 24fps. I now swap to Canon 5dMarkII and 7D with CF card. A total game change. It seems that Canon is better than Nikon on videos. I'm very happy so far. Thanks for asking! Good Luck!

  • @bnccristi have you found the problem?

  • is this better than the D3100 at 1080p video in terms of image quality?

  • I want that t shirt so badly

  • heyy .. what other equipment did you use? like dolly, monopod and likewise.

  • It's beautiful
