lol i can take the shit from the WoW fanboys but when a so called former EQ player starts whining i have to chime in! I played EQ,EQOA,and now EQ2 ive played TONS of free to play games, and at least a dozen sub based games, EQ2 is the best out even today! It still captures the sense of adventure,danger,and reward it always has!

All I'm saying is get your dicks off a game from 2004 and play something worth a shit. EQ2 will never be what EQ1 was, it's a total grindfest, boring, and you people would realize that if you weren't such a huge load of fanboys who can't accept reality. Play a good mmo, from someone who has played tons of them, I think I'd know.

@Welbeloved Pretty sure there is nothing that WoW can do to omake it even close to EQ, let alone identical. It may have some of the same features, but that is what happens when a game copies another.
There is a Free to Play version of EQ2 available as well. it runs on its own server and has limitations on what you can do, but it is pretty heavily populated and by far the best free to play experience there is. As for the normal pay to play servers, nothing even comes close.
