This has nothing to do with Hammurabi or his code of laws, yes it mentions him and some of what he did but laws are not all that were made he also institutionalized schools to make learning accessible to everyone. Not to mention the fact that he instated the first building codes that have been written down. This should be changed from Hammuabi's Code of Laws to, This Clip Deals With Laws And Does A Slight Brush Over There Origins.

you are not a very clever person are you? Biblical figures came from Sumerian and Babylonian culture, not Egyptian. LOL, if you want to bitch about Jews perhaps you should also look at Muslims. Not only did they commit genocide on a wide scale but also rewrote the Old and New Testament calling it the Koran and claimed it is the only book that came from God. LOL, they stole and embellished more on an already stolen story.

Good and bad are defined not by laws, but are defined by our emotional reactions to violent or compassionate actions. Violent actions are seen as bad. Compassionate actions are seen as good. This was true long before laws. Laws are harmful.

"A uniform set of laws becomes necessary with the rise of cities in order to keep order."

    SHOULD READ

"A set of laws is created by violent rulers in order to enslave citizens for maximum laziness and greed."

You are wrong. Civilization predates law. Behaviorally modern humans predate civilization. Anatomically modern humans predate behaviorally modern humans. We go WAY back. Without law.
