Memories of Nye Gone Spear Fishing Age 22.

Nye played Football (Soccer) for 15 years his jersey was # 03. His other passions were spear fishing and Xbox games. He worked in a drafting office and was half way through completing a Batchelor of Civil Engineering degree through CQU Australia.

Young, fit and apparently healthy young people can have cardiac disorders. If you have an underlying, undiagnosed cardiac condition you are at risk from SADS especially if you participate in regular cardio vascular activities.

Nye's heart was very large and it's believed he had early stage Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy which caused an arrhythmic event and ended in a cardiac arrest. Most of these deaths occur during physical activity but it frequently happens at night due to the slow heart rate during sleep. There are quite a few other cardiac disorders which can cause SADS. If you are concerned about yourself or someone you know ask your doctor about having a complete cardiac screening.
