C6 ZR1 -- racerns 10.85 Bone-Stock & Stock Tires

2009 ZR1 driven by "racerns" and owned by "ZO6Jeff" runs 10.85 129.89. Car is bone-stock on stock-tires. Density Altitude at the time was about negative 350 feet. Pass was made at Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek on October 12, 2009. As of this date, this is the fastest run ever by a bone-stock production car on stock tires. Driving is not yet dialed-in. Times will improve, Stay tuned

@arbigales That's because they think that the can purposely make the Corvette look slower over there so people will buy Ferraris and other euro cars instead of the corvette, even thought the corvette has better performance in every category and not to mention the ZR1 is cheaper than most of the euro cars.

I bet they did it on purpose cuz theyre embarrassed that the most innovative ferrari that costs 3 times as much as the zr1 actually gets raped by the zr1 both in a straight line and around a track.

Im a very big fan of this car, the z06, and basically all corvettes. For this reason i am very angry after I watched another video of some european (french) magazine putting the zr1 against a ferrari 458 and a nissan gtr. The z06 did the 400m (1/4 mile) in 12.1 seconds??!!! WTF?!!! over here it does it in 10.85.

@100rainey "the crap Ford GT" and the vette are the only 2 american cars that deserve that title... interesting opinion on the FGT being crap... Produced in 05 and 06 but still hold the same $ value to this day when re-sold, while on the other hand on autotrader I just saw a 10k mile ZR1 at a Honda dealership for $82995... 25k drop in a year..but you're right, the FGT is "crap"
