@venecontry @venecontry It wasn't only the chandelier. The columns appeared, and the music started. It was really exciting

This was a show of the phantom before his debut. At this show only atended familiars, friends and guests of crews of the phantom. People always applaude when some great thing happens on this, maybe they think in that moment in his sons, friends, brothers, etc, the workers what´s made this possible... still weird now ?

Can you post hannibal?

its weird how people used to applaude when the chandelier went up.

I think that this is the production where the chandelier goes highest. The theatre roofs are normally lower.
There are several Chandeliers that are used in multiple productions. Though they look the same, there are small differences. New York's is brighter and contains less fringe. London's is lit darker and contains more fringe. The Touring model is only lit on the front facade and is smaller. Las Vegas's is more round and larger, both width and height. This version appears to have taller ornamental decor (The harp like shaped pieces). However, the more unique they are, the better each one is.

I think I know which vid you're referring to! :) it was one of those vids about the technical stuff behind the show I think. I don't seem to remember what it was called anymore though.
Oo... Another point. I love the way the curtains rise up during the overture. It's sooo beautiful to look at.
