Thanks for sharing the comparison of the three whistles.
The Susato is interesting, although the tone colour seems rather thin.
I find the Reyburn very compelling here: the MK sounds rather disappointing in its second octave in comparison, however this is just a video clip.
Have you any favourites after after year of owning these?

Any comments on the playability of the highest few notes, which can sometimes be a problem, or the ergonomics?

Hmmm,They all sound great! But I think I am a little partial to the MK. Well I got myself an MK a few months back......and it is wonderful! I just was wondering if you could recommend any learning materials for the low whistle? Cheers!
My go-to whistle is the MK. High A and high B are a bit loud if playing at a smallish session. For me the nicest-sounding note on the MK is E near the bottom of the 2nd octave- it's amazing. So much colour and grit to it. But the entire gamut has a wonderful tone, which combined with its great volume and perfect tuning make it my all-time favourite Low D.

About the playability of High B, this note tends to be a tiny bit on the harsh/loud side on many Low D Whistles. HIgh B is fine on the MK but it has to be supported with a strong airstream. The Reyburn's second octave is a bit smoother than the MK's, but the MK's low register is somewhat stronger.
To me the MK is more ergonomic simply because it's much lighter than the Reyburn.
