Slip Slidin' Away

We spent a long day on the roof of a bus from Puerto Princessa to El Nido on the Island of Palawan in the Philippines. It was a great ride until it started to rain and they pulled a big tarp over everything and everybody on the roof.

The big capital improvement project on the island is cementing the roads. As you can see it's a work in progress.

Twelve hours and a bit over a hundred miles later there we were....only problem was five days later we had to go back the same way.
