I was listening to Demento too and had a cassette player on to catch classics like this. I am glad to find it here today. This is clearer than what I recorded in the early 1970's.

@ThreadCityDeanF yes i remember that perticular show. the theme was 'food', and in addition 2 the buttuerbeans and susie tune, he also played 'tacos for 2', 'cheese boogie deluxe', and some comedy monologue about a chinese waitier in a restaurant serving some dumb customers. like i said, i recorded it all and wore the tape out playing it so much. god how i miss the dr. demento show, it was 1 of the few things that got me thru the hell they call 'middle school', lol.

i remember hearing this song on the dr. demento show back in 1984. good thing i had a tape recorder rolling then, it was the most funniest song i ever heard. i wore that cassette out listening 2 it repeatedly. wow, what memories...
