The Mars Volta - Goliath (North Sea Jazz 2008)

The Mars Volta performing 'Goliath' at the North Sea Jazz Festival 2008 in Rotterdam. I don't really know the title of the music, but it was something what brought my ears and my sony cyber-shot to it's technical limits.

In Rotterdam it was the first time I heard music from The Mars Volta. In my live career I've seen many many bands - but this gig was definitely from another universe. Maybe that someone says that this 'music' is not 'really' music - but in my eyes and ears it was really really impressive and lasting for days [not only by the omnipresent *piiiiiiiieeeeep* in my head]. If you hear this to the end, maybe it's understandable what i mean. And at least: The stage performance of Cedric Bixler-Zavala took very much musicians which call themselves 'rock[!] stars' to a different light ...

In other words: I've seen the real Rock'n Roll !!! (o;

Deloused in comatorium is by miles the best album they made so far!

Personally Frances the mute bores the hel out of me. ( only good tracks are the first 3)
