Longhaus analyst Sam Higgins and Builder.au reporter Chris Duckett give their immediate reactions to Larry Ellison's keynote, "From Disk to Applications."
"Larry takes Fusion to the nth degree... the start of the keynote was about extreme performance - to extreme integration... when Larry says fusion, he means it very literally, fusing everything together," analyst Sam Higgins said.
"I think that Oracle now just has a huge massive stack. From hardware all the way up to ERP. Everything in between now has an Oracle brand on it. And wow, that's something many companies are going to find hard to compete with," ZDnet's Chris Duckett said.
