@TODDFL6 No, it's one IC.s The board connected to it is so I can rapidlly program and test the single IC that drives it all.

It's just one IC, a power supply, and a servo.. Simple

Wouldn't a waldo setup be a better idea? Part of Black Kitty's lack of interest might be the lack of feedback or interactivity on the robot's part. Great idea, though. My humans could really use a meowtorized toy on days when they're too tired for a lot of repetitive arm movements...
