I remember listening to this song as a teenager. I am almost 40. It's amazing how when a person takes the time to write some strong lyrics how long they last. Nothing like speaking truth. I will play this song for my now pre-teen son.

i still listen to this cd from time to time. Blackberry molasses, i think that i should be, lady, and tears scars n lies, was my joints. What happened to music? I guess hip hop aint the only thing that died....rnb did too. Sad.
