Nah nah; Mic volume 100%, Wav volume 10%. That's what worked for my recordings, anyway; I then later halved their volume in a video editing program (a free one, like Microsoft Movie Maker) so it wouldn't be deafening.

Alright, this has some good potential here, but some things could be improved.
1) To get game audio with your voice you'd have to go into your volume settings and enable Stereo Mix, turning computer (wav) volume way down and mic volume way up... or record the game audio from your speakers with them pumping it out loud.

2) The audio is a little grainy only because we have to turn the volume is so high. You may wish to record and voice over later, so you can adjust the sound of your voice in accordance with game volume. Usually game volume will mask a little of the grain.
3) I'm not a hypercam fan, but I can understand the reasoning behind using it. If your computer can handle Camtasia or Camstudio, though, they tend to be better free options.
Just my suggestions and thoughts, here; don't take me too seriously.
