Whose in Military Industrial Complex? Pretty much the entire Congress is. Gravel himself probably has ties w/it, although I'd hate to admit that. This is a campaign speech; statements which usually are at odds w/what a given cadidate will do once elected. Look at Obama who promised to end our involvement in Bush's wars, now ramping them up.

I'm pleased that he actually tackled the issues but he forgot Kennedy was on his way to ending the Cuban embargo and was trying to end the cold war. Furthermore by singing bill 263 he would have withdrawn the few troops and and left just advisors in Viet Nam. But he was snufffed out and the first thing LBJ did was reverse bill 263.
