@crazykorean2268 This young man apparently took monastic vows, but the gap between a member of the general public and a monk is not as great as in Europe. In Thailand many people male or female stay in a monastery and wear the orange robes for short periods, which probably does them far more good than a $100 an hour psychiatrist. Ordinary people show great humanity there, and the belief in reincarnation is also an incentive to good behaviour - one doesn't want to come back as a cockroach!
