all phones with android OS will be the 2.0 when it does get released... I actually saw UK having an 2 point something update, but that's if you're with the carrier Orange.

There's no statement out right now when the user version comes out. The one that the guy is using right now is the Developer version, aka Software Development Kit (SDK... look right in info) which you can dl, but also risk your phone freezing up on you because it's unstable and will crash out every so often. No information will be lost, just irritates you a lot. I'll wait until the stable one does come. With the leaked images, let's hope it'll be a good Christmas present.
