@altosame I don't care if they had 10 albums, they had 1 hit. And drugs or not, Steve Wright could not carry a tune. There are many artist that didn't make it because of personal issues. I have no pity for Steve Wright. Drugs are self enflicted

@Claptonblues55 You're way off. Easybeats were very popular in Australia even before they came to England to record "Friday On My Mind." They had two or three albums prior to this. Their first LP recorded in England, "Friday On my Mind," was delayed in being released, and with the changing music scene of the 60s, sounded dated when it did come out. Also, the singer had drug problems which partly caused the band not to catch on as well beyond their native shore.

@RICSIKE06091976 Well your opinion. Even though the musicians in the easybeats were very good,Steve Wright could not carry a tune. My opinion and I'm entitled just as you are. So whose the stupid ass for making that stupid comment???? And sorry to say the Easybeats were ONE HIT WONDERS, not the artists that Moore or Bowie are.
