Amazing! She makes it look so easy. Have always loved Jackie, thanks for
posting this wonderful video...

Well put~. That coloratura at the end is killer, and she just throws it off like nothing....incredible~!

i totally agree. Her ''attack'' on the notes and coloratura is amazing. I remember DiStefano saying about Callas "she sings like a man", I think this applies here too. ^_^ ...then again, a top range like that, won't find that on many men~

I love how marilyn sounds in these types of roles...is it wrong to love her voice for the masculine edge it brings to these trouser roles? well whatever I love it either way!!

God! She certainly knows how to sing.
I still have sore hands after that long applause she deserved at La Scala after this aria.
One of the best mezzo ever. Certainly the best in the Rossini repertoire.
Thank you Jackie

Wow! I just realized how much I've forgotten about what is really considered being a great not "good" but great mezzo is. Thank you for posting this video to bad the audio is a little dissapointing its as if Levine swallowed her in the orchestra.

My God! Wow!
So lucky to be living in the era of recording and video :-)
Really no one else can sing this music like she could. She really brings to live the music and gives soul to it in a way that is rare among classical singers...its like Ella Fritzgerald or Frank Sinatra...but then just a lot more exciting because we know how incredebli difficult this music is.
