Rare original storyboards recently discovered for the all time classic war film Zulu, shot in 1963 in Natal South Africa, starring Stanley Baker, Jack Hawkins, Ulla Jacobsson, Nigel Green, James Booth and Michael Caine, directed by Cy Endfield. They illustrate the Attack on the Hospital sequence.

  • These original storyboards will soon be seen at the very first ever Zulu film exhibition at The London Film Museum, SE1 - opening 24th July.

  • 'Who's the Sgt with the muscles?' That's Sgt. Windridge.

    Born in Southwark. Surry (just across the river from London), he was the senior Sgt. at Rorke's Drift. While Color Sgt Bourne's career shot up like a rocket (he was 23 at the time of the battle), Windridge's career suffered from "intemperance." He had won hand lost his stripes on several occasions.
