This is a red scroll showing the tornado warning (on The Weather Channel) from the previous radar video. A few seconds of the radar is shown about 30 seconds in.

By this time, the tornado in southwest Ohio has crossed into Butler county. Another tornado will move across Crawford and Harrison counties in far southern Indiana.

The radar loop at the end of the video is about 45 minutes old, with the last image probably around 10:45 PM.

  • This was the warning, before the tornado in Harrison? Right?

  • @jhawk8274 Yes, this was the warning for the storm that produced the Harrison, OH tornado.

  • Is that the old WSR-57? Heh. :)

  • Yep. It was in service from 1960 to 1995.

  • Im guessing Manuel typed the report? (See Manuel at the end)

  • I believe his name was Phillip Manuel.

  • how did i GET FROM ANNOYING ORANGE TO THIS!

  • @xobrentox Yeah man. I was born in '94 and surprisingly I still remember the red scroll of death haha!

  • According to wikipedia the NSSFC had a high risk for severe storms that day and night.

  • @meangreen69Nova Today is the 21st anniversary of that major tornado outbreak.

  • The Harrison storm was a big one. Enough for President Bush (the good one) to show up and declare it a disaster area. You know...back when leaders weren't completely in the pockets of insurance companies who like to force people to wait-it-out until they're begging for a morsel.

  • @troshs lol awesome!!!!!

  • @mariahfan6288 for real?! i turned 1 this day. awesome

  • @mariahfan6288 for real?! i just turned 1 this day. awesome

  • Nice video one of a kind!

  • yeah the June, 2nd storm tore right through a neighborhood called the meadows in harrison, ohio. came right across from bright indiana and tore right through and destroyed my house and pretty much the entire neighborhood.

  • It probably was June 22, 1990. A few tornadoes were reported east of Columbus that evening (same line of storms moved through Cincinnati with tornado warnings). June/July 92 was very active, especially July 9-14 with a record number of tornadoes in a single day set on the 12th.

  • I seem to remember some tornado warnings here in Columbus, OH, around June 1990. Perhaps this was the same event? I also remember 1992 was a big year for tornadoes in Ohio.

  • scary take shelter NOW lol i hate tornados they kill like 1 million ppl each year
