Peter Gabriel is the best actor that has portrayed D'Artagnan. In fact this is the best version of the Musketeer story ever told.

This is beautiful, makes me wanna see the movie again.=) It's funny, people always talk about " The Three Musketeers", but it is D'Artagnan who steals the show every time.;)

@sparrowcrazy "The Three Musketeers" is the original book, first of the trilogy and the most famous. and even though d'Artagnan is indeed the hero, he becomes a musketeers only halfway through it. the title reflects d'Artagnan's point of view on the story, as it tells his encounter with the 3 musketeers.

but the Iron Mask is part of the last book, so d'Artagnan is then the only one who is still a musketeer. ;-)

D'Artagnan n my opinion represents the epitome of chilvary and honor if he lived in Britain he would be the perfect knight but hey hes a musketeer which is just as good as a knight point is I admire D'Artagnan and greatly respect the guy like the guy says at the very end all I ever wanted to be was him and I agree I to would like to be like D'Artagnan

Merci pour cette vidéo. Moi aussi amoureuse de Charles de Batz-Castelmore car avant d'être le d'Artagnan de Dumas, c'était un cadet de Gascogne.

Gabriel Byrne nous a donné un d'Artagnan vrai et fidèle au roi comme à la reine-mère. Comme le vrai dont on a retrouvé chez lui après sa mort, un portrait géant d'Anne d'Autriche et un portrait de Louis XIV.

Imagine serving as your son's most loyal servant, then learning you had another son who was being cruelly neglected by the son that you knew...those conflicting emotions...wow...Gabriel Byrne's acting showed all of that, and more. Hats off to him. :)
