So... Your arguement for why it isn't a gaming oriented system is that, originally, they had wanted to have it run linux, but got rid of said feature? Or that it can also access the internet? So can an iPhone, but its still a phone.
A computer, however, is the only one of the systems that was not created for the purpose of gaming. Xbox, Playstation and Wii are GAMING CONSOLES. A computer Is a gaming console as well, but this is not it's main purpose.

@SetsuNinja The ps3 isn't made only for games. In fact, on release it was built to run linux on the side, but Sony, being as restrictive as it is, decided later that they didn't like such a feature. Still, though, there are things like folding@home, which is not at all gaming. Razer only makes gaming gear, but they sell a laptop, which they call a gaming laptop. This would mean it's a gaming system. Again, "gaming system" is just marketing pitch. And why are you insulting me?

Has no one played Noby Noby Boy? There are sorts of levels and different planets you can visit. And the goal is for Noby Noby Boy to meet his girlfriend. There is a point, it just takes a really long time to get to the end, since it needs the online contribution of everyone who plays it to reach more planets.
