This is a complete video review of the Schwinn Joy Rider bicycle trailer/ jogging stroller. It shows how to collapse it and convert it back and forth from a bike trailer to a jogger stroller. It's the top of the line that Schwinn has to offer. We have it for sale on ebay at http://www.rowdytown.net , ebay screen name rowdytown2
@NotMyNono Thanks. I calling Schwinn and complained a little bit. They knew exactly what I was talking about. The Jogging Wheel cost around the same directly from Schwinn. Like I said, the duct tape fix worked OK for slow walks but a brisk walk- forget about it. The metal rods should have some kind of gasket to keep a tight fit. From factory its just metal on metal. Oh well, we just leave the jogging wheel on now unless we have it hooked up to the bike.
hi ! someone can tell me if we can put the big wheels inside when its close for transportation? sorry my english i am french.. thanks for helping me.. i need to buy but want to know first because its fot big trio with kids in central america! bye bye
The factory swivel wheel doesn't work if you plan on going over 5 mph. I did wrap duct tape on the metal pin to make for a tighter fit, but that only helps when walking. Anybody know where I can get the jogging wheel attachment?
@mykeytea Yes it can be installed on a quick release with disc brakes. All schwinn/instep trailers have the same coupling system, i would look for other vids that show you this better. The coupler is on the outside of the frame on the left of rear wheel (if you are facing forward like when riding), should be positioned straight down with lock nut between frame & coupler.
@cldiaz80 my son is 3.5 years. He is 44 inches tall (42 lbs.), even with a bike helmet and sitting on the left side, he still has about 3 - 4 inches of room above is head. If he was the only child in the middle there would be 6 - 7 inches approx. of room above his head. Both of my kids fit very comfortably in this trailer compared to others i have tried. Check out the user pics on amazon.com to see larger kids in the trailer. Still rides ultra smooth 2 kids adding 72 lbs to the trailer.
