She looks like a Saarlos Wolfhound in the fur, but her body shape is more like a German Shepherd..

I had a female coyote german shepard mix, she had really long fur and we had to shave it back every summer.

@NonnyMus1 True, true...didn't think of Malinois or similar breeds!

@limedestruction There are smaller kinds of shepherds. Italian, Dutch, etc.

looks like shep husky but there may be a pinch of coyotl. i've lived with various coy dogs and wolf dogs and they are the best. shep huskies are great too. would love to find another aussie husky or wolf malmute. it's often pretty obvious unless the dog has been more mixed in heritage. some wolf or coy dogs just ooze with their history

My husky mix, for example, looks just like your dog, though she is much finer boned with a very narrow head and a much curlier tail. Not sure what she is mixed with. Judging by her gait, stance, and her trainability, I think perhaps German shepherd, but her shepherd parent would have had to have been a very petite dog. Who knows! If you want to know with pretty very good accuracy, get a DNA test! They're down to about 50 dollars now and are super easy to do.

I don't know your dogs behavior, but I'm guessing she's a husky, husky mix. Looks a lot like a German shepherd in the face. Way too big and broad for a coyote. I don't think she's a wolf hybrid either. If she is, it's many generations back. Wolves are very shy, and I'm guessing it would be very hard for you to build a relationship with her as an adult from a shelter. Dogs DO naturally have this coloration, agouti, sable, whatever you want to call it. Doesn't need wolf ancestor to have it.

Looks like a german sheppard but with the color of a coyote
depending on where you are from she could be a "Tamaskan" mix..
