US Soldiers in Afghanistan Told to "Hunt People for Jesus... So We Get Them into the Kingdom"

US soldiers have been encouraged to spread the message of their Christian faith among Afghanistan's predominantly Muslim population, video footage obtained by Al Jazeera appears to show.

Military chaplains stationed in the US air base at Bagram were also filmed with bibles printed in the country's main Pashto and Dari languages.

this is a propaganda war here in afghanistan i am writing this from within afghanistan there are many NGOs who are here to take the advantages of poor people to turn them in to chrisian faith but in reality those who turn to chrisianity they do not realy become chrisians they are there so that they can go to USA or get asylem in some other country. This incedent was big headlines in many news Chanels and there were huge anti US and other forgrin diminstration in Kabul and other big cities.

I've never watched the full Zeitgeist. In fact some section showing the alleged astrotheology was very screwed up (namely the section stating the stars of Orion pointed through Sirius to the horizon where the Sun would rise at winter solstice and the idea of the Sun being on Crux... never gets anywhere near Crux in the sky. This doesn't mean their isn't a zodiacal representation in the usual Christian stories - just as the labours of Heracles (Hercules) are an astrotheological representation.
