I think ULTIMA cheated on this Longplay. If you look carefully at 8:23, his ship goes right through an enemy, and he goes right through the stage 2 boss.

@cubex55 I don't know; I've played Gradius III quite a bit over the years, so I have a pretty good sense of where the hitbox is. Maybe I'm just seeing things in this longplay for some reason :/

Well most of our videos are done tool-assisted, so savestates and re-recording, so theres not really much point to cheat :)

@cubex55 In my book, tool assistance, savestates, and re-recording all count as cheating. I'd much prefer a longplay where the game is played "fair and square" (no cheats of ANY kind), but that's just me.... oh well.
