A few months ago Sarah posted a comment on one my videos. I decided to check out her channel and I instantly became a fan! Her voice is extremely clean sounding and has a real "unplugged" feel to it. Her approach to music is also very similar to mine.

I heard Katy Perry's new song "Firework" and I knew this was the perfect song for our collaboration. I came up with a piano/string arrangement of "Firework" with a solo piano "Teenage Dream" intro. I then sent the instrumental over to Sarah. (She lives in Ireland and I'm from the U.S. so the time difference made communication kinda tricky lol)

Sarah put her own unique spin on the track and sent it back to me. She did everything in one take! (without a microphone). The final step was simply piecing everything together.

Sarah is crazy talented! She plays piano and guitar, and she writes her own songs. Plus she's a kind and humble person :)
