Samus went form from brown hair, to blonde hair, to japanese with blond hair now. Every iteration of her designs make her look more like the standard Japanese person ideal stereotypical woman. Blond hair, blue and eye and Japanese face.
In the next iteration she will probably be announced to be half Japanese and half white. Then in the next she'll be defending Japan from a disaster that for some reason out of all the places on this planet chose Japan to be the focal point of their attack.

the first two games were just better for me because they were silent. it emphasized the "personal journey" so to speak that she went through, and showed how isolated her job is. I will admit however, i've been saying it from the beginning, despite the dialogue, it os SERIOUSLY time for this game to have a third person mode. that is gonna be sick
