Cluny 2010: people's Europe, presentation [EN]

In the framework of "2010, the European year for Combat- ing poverty and social Exclusion", the European network of European Caritas, Caritas Europa and its French member, secours Catholique -- Caritas France, have associated with the city of Cluny to organise the meeting "Cluny 2010: people's Europe". This event, initiated by the Cluny's team of secours Catholique -- Caritas France, will celebrate 1100 years of combating poverty in Europe. Its origin lies in the role played by the city of Cluny during the middle Ages, by offering support to people in difficulty as well as through the values of hospitality.
